Matt started flying as soon as he was able. Prior to beginning his undergraduate studies at Florida Tech, he obtained an FAA medical certificate and had accomplished his first solo flight in his hometown in New Jersey.
As the project manager and task leader for over 20 studies, Matt was responsible for identification and outreach to project stakeholders. He arranged meetings, site visits, survey efforts, as well as organizing staff along functional and regional lines to accomplish outreach efforts. He solely has conducted well over 500 of these interviews and site visits with stakeholders ranging from airport officials, state and local DOT officials, MPOs and industry organizations, to airport tenants, air carriers, and freight forwarders. Matt has extensive experience in synthesizing outreach findings into valuable and insightful information, recommendations, and actionable plans.
